The summer league is linear, starting with a Premier league and moving down as far as is necessary. Ideally a division will consist of 6 teams but this is dependant on the number of entries for the season in question. Promotion and relegation is ostensibly 2 up ad 2 down but again is dependant on entries; teams not re-entering and have the bottom division with enough teams.
The winter league is as the summer except:
After division one the league splits into two legs.
Promotion and relegation is the same except that only one team from 2A and one from 2B is eligible for promotion.
Teams gaining promotion from the A leg do not automatically go up into the next level A division; for instance clubs with two teams in that division would be avoided if possible.
A sub-committee meets pre season to discuss and confirm promotion and relegation.
